ASCM Two Rivers – March Plant Tour

Our March meeting features a guided tour of the Fisher Controls Governor Road Plant, Emerson’s largest Fisher valve manufacturing facility, spanning more than 425,000 square feet. The plant specializes in the machining and assembly of large, engineered-to-order Fisher control valves—including some of the largest in the world.

These highly specialized valves serve critical industries such as:

• Pulp & paper mills
• Oil & gas refineries
• Conventional power plants (steam conditioning)
• Nuclear applications

This tour offers a unique opportunity to see precision machining, complex manufacturing, and engineered-to-order production in action, while gaining insight into the operations and coordination required to build equipment used in major industrial systems around the world.
